Yes. Due to legislation and health and safety requirements all customers must undergo a thorough authentication process and credit check before an online account can be set up to allow them to purchase products.
As an unregistered browser you can still do the following:
- Search and browse the complete catalogue of products available online
- View full specifications and UK selling prices for all products
- Request a quotation from us using the enquiry form on the homepage
Contact us through our online account set up form. As soon as your details have been verified you will receive a confirmation email containing your account log on and password. You will then be able to use the online purchasing facility.
As a registered customer your account will automatically be set up to show the appropriate delivery charge. The charge will be shown at the bottom of your order when you reach the checkout point.
This charge is calculated based on delivery to the address that is most often associated with your account. If you wish your products to be delivered to an alternative address, you will need to specify that alternative address in the Delivery address box.
There are a small number of products for which we are unable to provide you with an automatically generated delivery charge. These products appear on the site as 'Special Delivery Items' and you will be asked to contact our sales team by email for a quotation for delivery.
The are three ways in which you can obtain a quotation:

The online ordering system is linked to our in-house database system. This will generate an invoice, which will be sent by post or email to your accounts department.
We are happy for any item to be returned providing it is undamaged and remains unopened in its original packaging. There will be a restocking charge of 15% of the value of the item, and the customer must arrange and pay for the carriage for the item.
If an item is faulty or damaged on receipt we will arrange collection and replace the item as soon as possible.
